Jan. 22, 2019 – Los Angeles, California – – Diane Marger Moore from the national law firm of Baum Hedlund Aristei & Goldman is one of the first lawyers in the United States to receive board certification as a Truck Accident Law Advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). The accreditation for truck accident law is the first and only in the country recognized by the American Bar Association.
- Board Certified Truck Accident Attorney
- Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate
- Board Certified Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate
“Each of these lawyers know that choosing the right lawyer for a serious truck crash case makes all the difference in the world and they also know that it is difficult for a person to know who to hire,” says Joe Fried, founder of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. “So many advertise credentials, but so few are the real deal. Each of these lawyers has subjected themselves to a rigorous vetting and testing.”
National Board of Trial Advocacy Certifies Experienced Truck Accident Lawyers
An estimated 3.5 million professional drivers operate commercial tractor trailers in the U.S. The size and weight of these commercial vehicles cause significant damage to drivers, passengers and property in the event of an accident. The U.S. Department of Transportation reports roughly 500,000 trucking accidents occur annually, killing approximately 4,000 people and injuring many more.
Truck accident law deals with the procedural, substantive and practical issues that are unique to crashes involving commercial tractor trailers. According to the NBTA, more than 1,500 attorneys practice truck accident law and an additional 1,000 lawyers participate in a limited capacity.
While many lawyers market themselves as truck accident attorneys, only a select few Board-Certified Truck Accident Law Advocates have passed a six-hour exam, proved that a significant percentage of their practice is dedicated to truck accident litigation, undergone a thorough vetting process, and demonstrated a track record of handling multiple truck accident cases. In fact, only 13 lawyers in America are currently NBTA Board-Certified Truck Accident Law Advocates.
Diane Marger Moore is proud to be one of the few lawyers certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in the complex area of truck accident litigation.
