Truck Safety Coalition Urges You to Vote Against Truck Weight Increases
April 10, 2013

The debate is already gearing up in preparation for the 2014 Transportation Bill, with one of the most hotly contested debates centered around whether or not to allow heavier trucks on America’s interstate system. Many public safety organizations, including the Truck Safety Coalition, are against these weight increases because they pose safety issues to motorists, as well as environmental and infrastructure issues to the country and the world. The Truck Safety Coalition is asking for your voice as both sides prepare for what is sure to be an intense debate on Capitol Hill. It is vital that those of us against heavier trucks make our voices heard. Please take a moment to vote using the link below and send a message to the people in Washington that the proposed weight increases pose a dangerous threat to our public safety, our infrastructure and the environment.
