A Letter from California

Thank you for your professional representation of our wrongful death matter against Eli Lilly Company.

I would also like to thank you for your compassion. I realize that we are one of many litigants, but you never seemed to lose sight of the fact that we suffered a great loss.

Once again, thank you. If there is life after death, then I am sure that Tracy Ann is proud that she is able to bring joy into other people’s lives who are less fortunate, and proud of you for making it happen.

A Letter from the Hemophilia Community

It seems that every time I have sat down to write a letter, the right words just wouldn't flow out. Maybe my head just wasn't "screwed on right" after the loss of my son. I will admit, it has taken a 1—o—n—g time to get to the place where I feel "normal"' again, if that's possible. So here is that long overdue:

THANK YOU!!

Thank you for spending a good ten years of your life working on the Hemophilia Litigation. And thank you for the help that you gave to the Hemophilia Community in getting "Ricky Ray" passed. Thank you also for being so understanding and for just being there when some of us needed a shoulder to cry on.
. . .

Well, I need to close for now or I will never get this in the mail to you. But, before I close, I also want to say: Have a blessed and happy holiday and a prosperous New Year!

Sincerely,
EB and JB

A Letter from California

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things here at home. I've been thinking of you all. I miss the excitement and fulfillment in working on such a worthy cause.

I just wanted to tell each and everyone of you how blessed I feel having such an exceptional legal team on the case of my Brother and I. I hope everyone had a nice Easter Holiday and all are well and healthy.

I hope God continues to do amazing things through our efforts. We have accomplished so much
in restimulating the concern about Prozac and SSRIs. THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL. You are all fantastic individuals who stand for those things that are good and worthy. Because of this I have been proud to have you represent us in our family's tragedy and on the Prozac dangers. I hope we can all get together in the near future in a more social setting. It has been delightful getting to know everyone.

Take care.

Best of luck to you.

Thank you and your law firm for the great job they did in this case. I really do appreciate all the effort and time you have invested in the effort of getting some compensation for the terrible effects of Paxil.

For the first time since I took Paxhell in 1997, I feel like I am embarking on a new life and while it will never be the life I had BEFORE taking this drug, it is, in some ways, a better life.  Thank you for all the hard work you did on behalf of the Paxil litigants.  While we may have been a handful to deal with at times, I, for one, never lost sight of the invaluable service you did for those of us who were victims of GlaxoBinLaden!!

To everyone involved in this [litigation],

I received my settlement yesterday and I wanted to thank you once again for all the hard work you have all done, the research and the long litigation.

Bringing things out in the open about this dangerous drug and what it can do to people  . . .

I know that because of what you have done only more good is to come. People need to know what may happen to them or their children if they are prescribed psychotropic drugs, and because of this [litigation], it is being done.

Thank you.

A Letter from Washington

Our family would like to thank you for all you have done over the last three and half years in representing us in the loss of our son. Your professionalism has always been in the forefront, while continuing to remember our son and the personal side of our loss.

Your firm has gone above and beyond our expectations in a number of ways, such as, being the only law firm willing to take on the FAA for their dereliction of duty in monitoring the airline. Your interest in making changes in the system for the better and not just in settlement of the lawsuit. For taking a personal interest and attending the memorial dedication.

On a particular personal note, stepping in on our behalf with the coroner to get confirmation of the identification of our son’s remains when after eight months of waiting and many calls we were not able to get confirmation. There are no words to fully express what that meant to us.

And last but not least, for all of the letters, e-mails and phone calls and dinner meetings to keep us fully informed of the proceedings while always being responsive to our concerns and questions.

So to simply say thank you seems so inadequate, but know it comes with deep appreciation from our hearts. We have come to view your firm not only as our legal team but as friends.

So as we say goodbye, please know that it is with deepest appreciation and best wishes to all in your firm for continued success and happiness.

Best Regards,
S. Family

Thank you, it brought tears to my eyes, not the money, for which I am grateful, but remembering what Paxil had done to me.  It is still very painful, but I have moved on, and thank you for your excellent and caring representation.
