Kate Gillespie is an associate attorney at Baum Hedlund and focuses her practice on the firm's drug product liability cases, including cases involving antidepressant birth defects and Paxil suicide cases.  She earned a B.S. in Psychology at the University of Oregon and her law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where she won the William M. Byrne, Sr. Trial Advocacy Competition. Ms. Gillespie was a volunteer law clerk at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, where she provided family law and domestic violence assistance to low-income families in Los Angeles. She also clerked at the the Center for Conflict Resolution, where she provided negotiation and mediation services to low-income individuals in Los Angeles.  She is admitted in California state and federal courts.
