Bus Accidents, Commercial Truck Accidents, Mass Disaster Litigation, Personal Injury Law, Product Liability, Wrongful Death Law

Robert F. Foss is a partner for the national mass disaster law firm of Baum, Hedlund, Aristei & Goldman.   He devotes his practice to representing victims of commercial truck accident cases. He is very knowledgeable on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's rules and regulations that regulate trucking companies and he stays up-to-date on the latest federal regulations and truck safety issues affecting all states.

As a member of the National Advisory Board for the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America®, he is part of a national association of committed lawyers who have joined together to help eliminate unsafe and illegal interstate trucking practices.

Mr. Foss began his legal career in 1986, first working as a paralegal at Baum Hedlund.  He later went to law school while continuing to work as a paralegal, where he worked on many of the firm’s mass disaster cases, chiefly involving major airline disasters and general aviation crashes across the country.  He also worked on bus and train accidents and structure disasters. He became very familiar with personal injury and wrongful death law and the nuances of these laws as they vary from state to state.

After earning his law degree in 1994, he shifted his focus onto truck accident cases. Bob has since represented dozens upon dozens of clients in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases across the nation involving commercial trucks.

Bob was on the trial team which achieved one of the largest verdicts for the death of an unmarried person in Ohio state’s history.  In that case, our clients were awarded over $7M for the death of their son in a commercial truck accident case against Tyson Foods.   He has also litigated cases against trucking companies such as J.B. Hunt, Alta Dena Dairy and Continental Express, Inc.

He is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law.   He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, Motor Vehicle Collision, Highway, and Premises Liability Section.
